Always allow the battery to cool down to room temperature before using or charging it.

Never store the battery with low voltage; recharge it after each use to prevent over-discharge. The battery should be kept in a dry, cool place, shielded from heat and direct sunlight. If the battery will be unused or stored long-term, recharge it once every 6 months.
