When you first receive your new battery pack, fully recharge it. Do not over-discharge the battery; stop using it when you notice a drop in performance. Avoid over-charging the battery by removing it from the charger when recharging is complete. Heat can lower battery life, so do not charge or discharge the battery when it's hot. Always allow the batteries to cool down to room temperature before using or charging them. Do not store the battery with low voltage; recharge it after each use to avoid over-discharge. Store the battery in a dry and cool place, never exposing it to heat or direct sunlight. If the battery will be unused or stored for an extended period, recharge it once every 6 months.
